What Are You Creating?

Team Leads are the heart of OneTribe. By posting your entry, you are announcing your intent to proactively pull together and lead a team to produce a clearly-defined goal. If you have an Idea, but don’t want to be the Team Lead, please don’t log your Idea here. Instead go to What’s Your Idea?

Once you have registered your project using this form, it will be listed in the Current Projects Forum.

Completing the form below will help you to think through your Project so that you can outline clearly what you want to achieve, as well as what you need. Prospective Team Members will be able to read everything you write, so make it compelling!

Is your Project a
one-off event
an ongoing service?
State the specific, measurable outcome of your project.
What is the 'end date'?
(If it’s an event, this is the date of the event. If it’s a service, this is the launch date of the service.)
Who is the beneficiary?
(This is important, as it may influence people’s decision to join your team. Be as specific as possible, including any openness you have to changing the beneficiary.)
What is the general approach you are currently thinking of taking to achieve your outcome?
What are the key activites you are looking for people to fill?
Try to break the project down into actual activities rather than roles with titles. People may be more than willing to ‘double up’ and perform more than one activity, but separating out activities will make it easier for more people to say yes – especially when the hours required are limited.

As Team Lead, you are accountable for making good use of the talents and resources that are invested in your Project, for producing the end result and for ensuring that the output of your project – whether it’s money or supplies - reaches the designated beneficiary. Please make sure you have sufficient time and energy to devote to leading this project – including dealing with the inevitable curve balls that are part of the creation process – before embarking upon it. Thank You!
