OneTribe Projects generate either a one-off event or an
ongoing service. View upcoming Events and Services here.
All Project-related events and services send 100% of their
proceeds to their respective beneficiaries.
Individuals and companies listed in the Tithing Forum also
offer events and services – with two differences: 1) they
operate independent of Projects and 2) the percentage of
proceeds may be less than 100% of proceeds.
'I Heart Haiti', a 2-hour dance-fest based on the 5Rhythms (R) Practice, happened on Thursday February 25, 2010 in Sausalito, CA, USA , raising $950 for the Haiti relief efforts. 50 participants paid upwards of $15 for their tickets and had a blast! With this event, OneTribe was officially born.
This first event was made possible by 5Rhythms (R) teacher. Special thanks to the IDESST organization whose Board graciously gifted the space completely free of charge, inspired by the beneficiary. Funds will be sent to Haiti via the M A Center in San Ramon, Ammachi's primary ashram in the US. The M A Center is part of the M A Math, an NGO officially recognized by the United Nations, and has a sterling track record for ensuring 100% of all donations reach the specified beneficiaries. More information on the M A Center and the M A Math can be found here: www.amma.org (US site) or www.amritapuri.org (Indian site).
All OneTribe events and services have one thing in common: they provide genuine added value. Whether the output generated is cash-flow, food or blood, we don’t care – as long as it’s adding value to someone who needs it, somewhere on the planet.
In short, we’re not here to compete with non-profits by creating marathons, hopathons or any other elaborate no-value-add activity designed to elicit donations for worthy causes.
